The child in time, Ian McEwan

I wasn’t going to choose this book for the blog because it starts with the kidnap of a child, and I thought this not a suitable topic! However, I’ve started reading it and the kidnap is not the focus of the book and really shouldn’t put you off. Can I choose it even though I am now part way through it, because I need to discuss it please.
