All our worldly goods
Sorry, I'm behind..
I agree the plot and characters were thin but what struck me about it was how people just get on with the ordinary in such extraordinary circumstances. Shall we run, shall we stay. Hide from bombing in the woods today, come back and cook bread tomorrow. Also the naivety of people unused to being attacked 'no it was inconceivable, he was a civilian, a civilian. He could walk through armies, dodge bullets'. And awful to think of so many people still living like that on a daily basis today. How good we are at adapting to circumstances.
